We have recently launched our spanking new ICYC website and we urge all of you visit the website at http://youth-asiapacific.coop and subscribe to the newsletter. The website was officially launched on April 6, 2018 in Nepal by Mr. Li Chunsheng, Chairman of ICA-Asia Pacific in the recent Regional Board meeting together with Mr. Ahsan Ali Thakur Chairperson of ICA - AP Committee on Youth Cooperation (ICYC). Since it was launched, the website has been visited a total of 8254 times and the counts only keeps going up and rapidly!

The all-new ICYC website proudly bears the dot coop domain and has been revamped by Mr. Viknesh Rajandran of Koperasi Coop2u Berhad (ANGKASA), Malaysia together with Mr. Jayasrinath Padmanabhan (Shree) of ICA-Asia Pacific. The website’s front-end design uses HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and MDB library while the back end technology uses PHP and MySQL database and the website is hosted in Microsoft Azure Burst Virtual Servers.

The website was developed with youth at mind while maintaining a corporate identity in line with the ICA website. The new technology built into the website has auto-scaling functionalities whereby the size of the server expands according to the traffic into the website.  The website also is designed to be responsive to the screen it is viewed on, in other words, the content and layout of the website will be optimized when it is viewed on a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
