The ICA-AP Committee on Youth Cooperation (ICYC) organised its second Global Youth Cooperative Webinar on August 12, 2019 to celebrate the International Youth Day. This year, the Day focused on ‘Transforming Education’ to highlight initiatives in making education inclusive and accessible for youth, including initiatives taken by youth themselves. Four young speakers from cooperative and non-profit organisations in Asia and Pacific, Africa, Europe and the Americas shared their experiences in the education sector and discussed the role of youth and cooperatives in transforming the field of education. This year, the guest speaker at the webinar was an expert in the education sector from the Sectoral Policies Department at the International Labour Organization (ILO), Switzerland.
